I am sure you are all aware of the big make up product that took (and it’s still taking) the world by storm – the all mighty highlighter.
This is a love/hate product that started to be mainly used by drag queens and rapidly was adopted by the beauty community.
The purpose of using highlighter is to accentuate the features you’d like to highlight (hence the name) and to give you a dewy, fresh glow look.
Now, there are really no rules on where you can use it. But if you don’t want to look like a mirror ball, there are some strategic places you may want to consider.
Bridge of the nose, top of the cheekbones, eyebrow bone, top of the eyebrow arch, inner corner of the eye and cupids bow.
If you want to look extra dewy but still within reason you can add a tiny bit on the chin (use a light hand here, as you can easily look oily) as well and on the shoulders and collarbone (in case it’s summer time).
