Every beauty guru will tell you that the number one thing they care about when it comes to their makeup is making sure their skin is flawless. A good skin is key for an overall good makeup and look.
As not all of us were blessed with Gigi Hadid’s skin, it’s always useful to keep an eye on the tips and tricks out there that help you transform with just some simple little steps.
One of the key tips is to use the right color corrector! You’ll experience your skin going from dull to bright, you’ll get rid of those dark circles or you can just pretend that red pimple never existed.
Now, in order to achieve this witchcraft you need to understand which colors work for what. Don’t look any further, here you have your reference list:
- Green: green counteracts red, so works great from blemishes or red patches
- Purple: to be used in dull “grey” skin, to light it up
- Peach/salmon: works wonders on dark circles, bringing the skin tone back to that area. The darker your skin tone is, the darker corrector color you should use within the peach/salmon family
These are some of my favorite color correcting products:
In what concerns application, make sure you apply the corrector before your foundation for a seamless look.
Now go and enjoy playing with makeup and witness your skin’s transformation.
You can thank me later 😉
